Heart Of Hale

The artwork is part of Yinka Ilori's role as the official Artist in Residence for Argent Related’s landmark scheme, Heart of Hale, in Tottenham Hale’s regeneration area. Argent Related brings together Argent – best known for iconic destinations such as King’s Cross – with the most prominent, privately-owned real estate firm in the US, Related. During the two-year residency, Yinka Ilori will deliver a number of installations for the public realm, from permanent street furniture to temporary wall art, cementing the area’s growing reputation as a creative hotspot.

The installation will encourage people to gather together as a community. The result is Take It In And Take Time– a place where passers-by can sit, reflect, even talk to someone new. Bringing people together is a powerful thing, and the artwork serves as a reminder of this, and it becomes a place of joy for the old and new community of Tottenham Hale.
