Dreaming with Flamingos is Yinka Ilori’s first digital interactive artwork - a vibrant, musical playground co-created with Google Arts & Culture Lab. Inspired by his real-life
installation Flamboyance of Flamingos in Barking, London, the experience brings Nigerian folklore and community storytelling into the digital world through the power of AI.
Players explore a dreamlike park, solving riddles to unlock sounds and visuals rooted in West African culture. The generative soundtrack is created using Google’s MusicLM, while digital artworks are produced by AI trained on Yinka’s signature style.
Merging heritage with innovation, Dreaming with Flamingos invites you to play, create, and reconnect with imagination, memory, and joy.
