Furniture upcycling

During London design festival, Yinka Ilori collaborated with non-profit social enterprise Restoration Station to enable the creation of a collection of upcycled furniture to be auctioned, raising money to fund workshops teaching skills in wood-working and furniture restoration.Participants of the programme were given the opportunity to restore a chair influenced by Ilori’s unmistakable aesthetic of bold Nigerian prints and vivid colours.
