The Skateroom joins forces with British-Nigerian artist Yinka Ilori to unveil an inspiring new collection of skateboard art editions. Consisting of two solo editions and one striking triptych, the collection celebrates messages of love, unity and hope.

The power of togetherness can move mountains - it’s a belief instilled in the artist early on by his parents. This solo deck holds an inspiring message of unity, packaged in a lively form with geometric patterns and contrasting neon hues.

IF YOU CAN DREAM THEN ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE

Yinka Ilori’s own trajectory is proof that, with enough determination, commitment and the courage to dream, anything you envision can become reality. The title sentence first appeared on a series of murals designed by ILORI after the pandemic. They appeared around England to reignite a feeling of hope and optimism among the people.

YOU ARE MY WORLD LOVING YOU IS EASY

Sometimes love is about grand gestures and this high-spirited triptych is a statement like no other. The imagery is reminiscent of the original flower-power aesthetic, with the Earth as a central feature, radiating sun-like beams. The creative power of love and sun are ever-prominent in Ilori’s oeuvre, and this edition serves as a perfect representation.

As with all The Skateroom collections, 10% of all sales will be donated to social skate projects worldwide. For a decade, the social enterprise has been funding skatepark constructions, workshops and community-building initiatives, empowering underprivileged youths through art and social impact initiatives.
