Paradise for All
Cristea Roberts

Paradise for All explores the universally recognised symbol of the flower. In using this particular subject, Ilori acknowledges the paradoxical visual and social function of flowers - in art history they have been both decorative motifs and representative signs of impermanence, used to symbolise the brevity of life; in society they are presented as gifts at times of both immense joy and sadness.
“The beauty of flowers lies in their gentle sequence of life: they bud, bloom, and fade away in a continuous cycle of being, and becoming”.
